Conducts all aspects of disassembly and cleaning prior to pre-assembly inspection.
Ensures productivity, efficient operations, quality control and adherence to established safety measures as set for the Disassembly Prep Area.
Carries out responsibilities in the Disassembly Prep Area in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
Requires proven experience in a technical field.
Flexibility and ability to learn quickly are key character requirements for this position.
Reports to Operations Manager and works in harmony with all shop staff.
Responsibilities and Duties Communicates job requirements; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions Contributes equipment specific information and recommendations to operations staff; consistently observes production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards to improve internal processes Monitors process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; suggests changes when necessary Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complies with legal regulations Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations Accomplishes Disassembly Prep operations mission by completing related tasks as needed Works closely with co-workers and management team to set shop production goals and follow through to job completion.
Training new and existing employees in addition to other duties as directed.
Qualifications and Skills Technical Aptitude Proper use of hand & power tools Organization Communication Skills Dependable Team Work Problem-Solving Skills High School Diploma or GED (technical school degree a plus) Valid driver's license & clean driving record Minimum one-year experience working in a technical field Employee must be able to legally work in the United State Benefits 401K Matching Paid Holidays Vacation & Personal Days Job Type:
