Art Director/Senior Graphic Designer

A passion, coupled with direct experience in branding and communications design in the luxury sector is essentialThis person will work directly for an Experiential Agency, representing global luxury brands, with an office in Bluffton, SC.
As the Art Director, you are responsible for managing and executing the overall look and feel of all digital and print collateralYou are responsible for managing the workload and work quality of the graphic and 3D designer, as well as obtaining and organizing all photo and video content for use in various communicationsA natural flair for style and elevated design is essential, a review of your design portfolio will be required.
Requirements:
Highly Proficient in InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop,& PowerPointProficient in Microsoft ExcelHighly organized and able to manage one's own workflow as well as those of graphic and 3D designerWorks efficiently, proactively, accurately, and independentlyPossesses a natural eye for visually appealing layouts for communication materialsProven experience managing multiple projects at once, with competing deadlinesStrong time management and organization skills, deadline and detail-oriented, and willing to take in accountability for project outcomesCreativity and critical thinking skillsAbility to take and apply feedback and creative direction from both the Creative Services Lead, and internal team members in service of advancing workStrong command of current design trends with a curiosity for new techniques and fresh approachesAttention to detail (ex:
noticing when colors and fonts are incorrect, line spacing, or words are misspelled)Ability to communicate designs to suppliers and order quality products in-line with our luxury clienteleAbility to understand and adhere to brand guidelines is crucialWeb design and/or basic coding knowledge a plusDuties:
Reports to Creative Services Lead on the execution of 2D design and content deliverablesDesign direction for invitations, experience brochures, websites, live event branding, gifting and marketing materialsBasic copywriting skillsAbility and willingness to personally execute graphic design projects as needed based on workload of the overall teamObtain and organize all photo and video content for use in various communicationsMaintain familiarity with all content, past and presentMaintain Interluxe website with relevant contentMaintain Interluxe credential documents with photos and descriptions of key projects (case studies)Creation of communications flow charts in order to determine all communication pieces needed throughout the customer journeyCreation of client-facing internal presentations to communicate design proposals and costs associated for final client approvalsDesign of event wayfinding including; informational and directional signage, flags, gifts, uniforms etc.
Direct client communication on event branding, wayfinding and communication piecesSupplier sourcing and product samplingOversee the production department in the proofing and ordering of all print and graphic materials------------------------------------------------Job Type:
