The Community Manager (HOA) position is a full-time professional who is responsible for the management and support of a community association within AIM Real Estate Management's portfolio.
To accomplish these tasks, the Community Manager (HOA) must focus on daily operations, regular interaction with and support of the Board of Directors, homeowners, vendors, etc.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Coordinate communication with Board members; summarize information keeping communication lines open, direct and specific to the association.
Review policy and make recommendations for implementation procedures for items such as:
deed restriction enforcement, collection of assessments, amenity operations, etc.
Prepare HOA meeting packets for distribution and delivery.
Monitor the budget and forecast income and expenses appropriately.
Ability to motivate, cultivate, and negotiate with committees and vendors.
Support and provide oversight for all aspects of maintenance on behalf of the Board.
Ensure proper tracking and compliance of contractual obligations.
Process and manage Architectural Review Board (ARB) requests.
Retrieve information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and
Experience:
Minimum two years of Community Association Experience specific to Associations/HOAs (excluding exclusive work with apartment complexes).
Associates degree in a related field a plus; Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant field preferred.
Experience in bookkeeping and/or property management software AppFolio.
Accredited managers urged to apply (CMCA, AMS, PCAM, etc.
) Physical Requirements:
Walking the property; navigating stairs; with periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
