Performs basic Library support functions and routine circulation desk duties.
Responsibilities include:
working at the circulation desk; renewing Library cards; processing material in and out of area; performing shelving duties; processing fines; and providing customer service to patrons.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent Two (2) years customer service experience Library experience preferred Excellent customer service, organizational and computer skills Basic communication, comprehension and math skills requiredMust possess and maintain a valid driver's license Salary:
$15.
25 per hour Position Open Until April 9, 2024 All applicants tentatively selected for a position with Beaufort County Council will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for the illegal use of drugs and to a background check prior to appointment.
Employment is contingent upon clearing both the drug screening and background investigation.
