THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
The qualified person designs, analyzes, & plans set preparation for a variety of water & wastewater projects including: water delivery/distribution systems, wastewater collection, water & wastewater treatment, sewage collection systems, pumping stations, lift stations, water/wastewater treatment plants, & pipeline projects.
Participates in master planning & preparation of design drawings, specifications, & calculations.
Engages in fieldwork, data collection, & analysis & elementary design computations.
Oversees & coordinates work efforts design teams & communicates with the customer.
Performs work that includes a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of standard materials, & difficult coordination requirements.
Collaborates with multidiscipline engineering staff, CAD Operators, & project teams on water & wastewater projects.
Responsibilities also include coordination of permitting to various regulatory agencies, administration of bidding & award of projects, & construction administration & observation.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
Applicants must be registered Professional Engineers.
Experience with a civil consulting firm preferred
Working knowledge AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel necessary.
Experience with Civil 3D and Land Development software a plus.
The applicant should possess good communication skills to work with co-workers and relate to clients.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
