Registered Nurse looking for PRN work
Registered Nurse - Home Health Care
Duties:
Provides nursing services and assesses patients for admission to the Home Health Program
Evaluates the patient's response to care as evidenced by visit note documentation
Provides education to patient & family regarding disease process, self-care techniques and prevention strategies as evidenced by visit note documentation
Clinical record documentation demonstrates compliance with physician orders for care provided and frequencies of visits made are completed with accuracy
Obtains physician's orders for care and services provided per policy
Documentation demonstrates compliance with Medicare, Medicaid and other regulatory requirements
Develops, revises and updates plan of care, goals and discharge plan in conjunction with patient, family, physician and care team
Participates in on-call rotation per program requirements
Effectively communicates with team/office staff regarding changes in client status, scheduling changes, patient problems, etc.
Demonstrates knowledge of infection control standards and techniques as per Company's policy and procedures and consistently practices these techniques
Requirements:
Must have South Carolina Registered Nurse license
Must have current BLS and ACLS
Must have two years of experience
Home healthcare experience desired
Knowledge of Oasis program desiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
