Vehicle Description '96 F250 4x4 Long-Bed in excellent condition inside and out, with original paint and 7.
5L big block gas.
I'm the second owner of this truck which I bought in 2009.
Engine has new hoses, thermostat and serpentine belt and over the 12 years I've had the truck it's had no engine issues.
Features include A/C, Cruise Control, Tilt Wheel, Split-Bench Front Seat, Fold-Flat Rear Seat, Manual Transfer Case w/4Lo, Warn Manual-Locking Hubs with Lifetime Warranty, Dual Fuel Tanks with 39-Gallon Capacity, Aftermarket Radio with Bluetooth, Tekonsha P3 Trailer Brake Control, A.
R.
E Fiberglass Cap, Truxedo Lo Pro Bed Cover.
I also have the original Ford fiberglass running board/steps but you will need new support brackets to mount them.
Engine has new hoses, thermostat and serpentine belt.
LTX Defender M/S tires have less than 3,000 miles on them and a new spare tire mounted in the bed.
Tie-Rod and pitman arm just replaced along with new front calipers and pads.
Right rear spring and all rear spring-hangers replaced two years ago.
The rear fenders started to rust above the wheels about 5 years ago so I cut out the rusted metal, treated the fenders with POR-15 Stop Rust System and installed the rubber fender flares.
The POR-15 treatment is doing its job and there's been no further issues on the rear fenders.
Front fenders, rocker panels and cab corners are solid, showing no signs of rust.
The left bottom of the tailgate does have some rust-thru that will eventually need to be addressed.
There are two small places where the paint has been scuffed by car doors.
The front fuel tank gauge stops working at full.
I just keep track of the miles and switch over to the rear tank around 150 miles.
The driver's door key lock and tail-gate latch are both a little temperamental.
While hard to believe, my wife agreed to sell the family Tahoe and get a new F350 so we could get down to one vehicle.
I love the truck and know it's going to continue appreciating in value, but would like to free up some garage space.
